FLANKS 2 – Disinformation Training

Following the Trainig of Trainers activity organised by New Strategy in partnership with the West University of Timisoara in October this year, 10 UVT master and PhD students acquired the necessary skills to identify and combat disinformation in the context of the war in Ukraine. This week, the 14 trainers worked with 134 other colleagues, passing on their acquired knowledge. The training took place in two sessions, on Monday and Friday, involving WUT students from different majors. The initiative is part of the FLANKS 2 project – dealing with the challenge of political warfare in the Ukraine war context, which the New Strategy Center is implementing in partnership with the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).
