On Monday, 21 June, New Strategy Center organized an online conference dedicated to the NATO summit held in Brussels on 14 June and to the impact of decisions on NATO’s Eastern Flank and, in particular, on the Black Sea region.
The debate was moderated by Ambassador Cristian Diaconescu, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and member of the Scientific Council of  New Strategy Center, and the guest speakers were Ambassador Sorin Ducaru, former NATO Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, currently Director of the EU Satellite Centre (SatCen), General (Ret.) Sir James Everard, former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe (UK), Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ben Hodges, Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies, Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), former commander United States Army Europe (USA) and Dr. Karsten Friis, Head Research Group on Security and Defence, Norwegian Institute of International Affairs – NUPI.
The dynamic debate considered how the North-Atlantic Alliance would ensure deterrence and defense measures on NATO’s Eastern Flank, possible developments in bilateral relations between the US and Russia after the meeting between Presidents Biden and Putin, the transatlantic relationship and cooperation between NATO and the EU.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
