George Scutaru, CEO of the New Strategy Center, participated on Tuesday, June 3rd, in the event “Romania’s Civil Security,” organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of a delegation of German companies active in the following sectors: cybersecurity, drone manufacturing, emergency management solutions, and protective infrastructure.
George Scutaru presented the security situation in the Black Sea region and the challenges we are facing, as well as the opportunities available to German companies looking to invest in Romania. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a free Black Sea, open to trade, connectivity, and energy projects.

The panel was moderated by Sebastian Metz, Managing Director of AHK Romania, and the other speakers included: Gabriel Dinu, Deputy Managing Director, National Cybersecurity Directorate (DNSC), Brigadier General Marius Dogeanu, Head of the General Directorate for Civil Protection (DGPC), Christian Plate, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., German Embassy Bucharest, George Scutaru, CEO, New Strategy Center, Florin-Marin Spătaru, State Counsellor, Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
