On 3–4 September, the New Strategy Center, together with LSE IDEAS from the United Kingdom, organized a session dedicated to issues of strategic importance. This exchange of expertise proved particularly valuable in light of the current international context and the importance of the UK–Romania relationship for Romania’s security.

Romanian and British experts discussed current issues, including the security situation in the Black Sea region, possible developments in the war in Ukraine, Russian hybrid activities in their various forms, and aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Through this initiative, the New Strategy Center and LSE IDEAS, the international relations and security think tank of the London School of Economics, reaffirm their commitment to contributing to the development of dialogue between Romania and the United Kingdom on issues of vital importance to security, as well as to promoting the strategic importance of the Black Sea region.
