The Romanian Defence Staff, New Strategy Center and Centre for the Study of New Generation Warfare organised a simulation exercise, titled “Future Force Concept TTX / Simulation”, which took place in Sibiu on 7-10 November at the Land Forces Academy.

A presentation of the results of the exercise took place on 14 November in Bucharest, with the participation of representatives of the management structures of public institutions with responsibilities in managing a potential crisis situation.

The objective of the simulation was to analyse, at multi-institutional, inter-institutional, strategic and operational level, the issues involved in the multi-dimensional management of different strategic scenarios. The influence of regional security changes was also taken into account, assessing the response capability of the Romanian Army’s capabilities under the scenarios discussed.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
