New Strategy Center and Center for Eastern Studies (OSW) from Poland held a new series of consultations on topics of strategic interest

New Strategy Center experts attended, in Poland, a series of consultations on topics of strategic bilateral interest with the representatives of the Center for Eastern Studies (OSW) from Warsaw.
On 6-7 June, NSC and OSW experts discussed topics of common interest for the two countries, such as the evolution of the war in Ukraine, its impact on the region and the Eastern Flank, how the EU and NATO reacted to this war and the effectiveness of the measures adopted so far. At the same time, the experts from Romania and Poland analyzed the developments in the process of ensuring a European future of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. In addition, the participants also addressed the topic of cooperation at bilateral and regional level, in various formats, such as Bucharest 9 or the Three Seas Initiative. The seminar took place in Kazimierz Dolny, at the invitation of the hosts from the Center for Eastern Studies.

This is the third meeting in this format, organized by NSC and OSW, alternately in Romania and Poland. In this way, the two think-tanks contribute to the development of the strategic dialog between Romania and Poland and to the strengthening of the partnership between the two countries, a necessary process especially in the context of the Russian aggression in Ukraine and the security challenges that Romania and Poland are facing.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
