New Strategy Center and Center for Eastern Studies (OSW) from Poland held a new series of consultations on topics of strategic interest

NSC and OSW experts have met online on Thursday, 26 November, to discuss topics of common interest for the two countries such as the transatlantic relationship, the EU developments, Russia’s foreign and security policy, the developments in Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the effects of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the US-China strategic competition. At the same time, the exchange of views also concerned Romania’s and Poland’s perspective on regional cooperation formats, such as the Three Seas Initiative, B9 or the Visegrad Group.

Since 2018, New Strategy Center and OSW have developed this format of consultations on topics of common interest, willing to contribute in this way to increasing cooperation between Romania and Poland and to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
