On Monday, April 15th, New Strategy Center attended the debate “New Perspectives on Shared Security – NATO’s Next 70 Years”, organized by the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). Mr. Marian Tutilescu, Senior Associate Expert at the New Strategy Center brought his contribution to the panel ”Crime, Terror, Trafficking: a look at the broader security implications”.
This session focused on identifying those forms of organized crime which constitute a threat to global security, but especially to the NATO members. In this context, it was emphasized the need for diversifying the means of cooperation with specialized bodies in the field of EU internal security such as EUROPOL and FRONTEX, which developed mechanisms for preventing and fighting this type of threats.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
