At the invitation of the NATO Headquarters Multinational Division South-East, experts from New Strategy Center visited the premises and held presentations on the topics “The Three Seas Initiative (3SI)” and ”the Bucharest 9 Cooperation Format (B9)”.
On this occasion, Ambassador Lazăr Comănescu, member of the Scientific Council of New Strategy Center, and Mr. George Scutaru, General Manager of New Strategy Center, presented the political foundations, objectives, projects and results so far of 3SI and B9, as well as a general assessment of the security environment on the South-Eastern flank of NATO, especially the Black Sea Region.
The briefing was attended by BG Cristian-Daniel Dan, Commander of the HQ MND SE, BG Plamen Yordanov, Deputy Commander of the HQ MND SE, and COL Ovidiu Lungu, Chief of Staff of the HQ MND SE, as well as by representatives of the allied states contributing with personnel to the Multinational Command of the South-East Division, in Bucharest.
