On November 28th, the Institute for eastern Studies – ISW and New Strategy Center organized in Warsaw the sixth round of debates in the series ‘Poland and Romania. Facing New Challenges in the Region’. This event has been hosted by the Sejm of Poland, camera the lower chamber of the Parliament from Warsaw.
Politicians and representatives of the ministries and agencies with responsibilities in the national security field from the two countries, representatives of the academia and businessmen debated on topics such as the security challenges on NATO’s Eastern Flank, the ‘Bucharest 9’ format and the opportunities to increase military cooperation, the evolution within the 3 Seas Initiative from the energy security and infrastructure perspective and the economic collaboration between Romania and Poland.
This event is part of the series of debates organized every year in Bucharest and in Warsaw by New Strategy Center and the Institute of Eastern Studies – ISW in order to consolidate the strategic dialogue between Romanian and Poland and to contribute to the partnership between the two states.
