New Strategy Center meeting with students from the US Air Force College

The New Strategy Center organised a meeting with students from the US Air Force College on 5 March.
Presentations were held by Amb. Gheorghe Magheru, member of the NSC Scientific Council and Lieutenant General ( ret.) Viorel Pană, NSC Senior Associate Expert. The discussions focused on the security situation in the Black Sea marked by hybrid threats and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as well as Romania’s air capabilities and support to Ukraine in the military aviation field, through the training centre for F16 pilots. At the end, students asked questions about Romania’s efforts in multi-domain support to Ukraine, optimal strategies to contribute to Ukraine’s victory, and the impact of the US presidential election on assistance to Ukraine and Euro-Atlantic solidarity.
