George Scutaru, Director General of the New Strategy Center, participated on Saturday, April 18, in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey. He held a series of discussions with officials and experts from Turkey and other countries attending this important international event.
Among his interlocutors at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum were Levent Gümrükçü, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey; Christian Schmidt, High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina; Mehmet Bozay, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey; and Lazăr Comănescu, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

The event provided a good opportunity to discuss the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara, as well as cooperation between Romania, Turkey, and Bulgaria in combating sea mines in the Black Sea. Freedom of navigation is very important for Romania and its energy projects.
The New Strategy Center has consistently advocated for expanding cooperation in the protection of critical underwater infrastructure, taking into account the major energy projects that both Romania and Turkey have in the Black Sea.

We are pleased that at the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, the largest event organized by the New Strategy Center, Mehmet Bozay, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, will be among the dignitaries in attendance.
At the same time, George Scutaru held discussions with Turkish and international experts on future cooperation projects and participation in upcoming events to be organized by the New Strategy Center on topics relevant to Romania, such as the strategic importance of the Black Sea and the Balkans, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
