The New Strategy Center participated on Wednesday, November 26, in the debate “The Republic of Moldova in Romanian and French Strategies”, organized by the Defense Mission of the French Embassy in Romania.

NSC was represented by Rear Admiral (ret.) Iuri Covaleov, senior associate expert. During the panel dedicated to the Republic of Moldova, the constant support provided by Romania was highlighted, as Moldova continues its efforts to strengthen its resilience and reduce vulnerability to the multiple pressures from Russia. In this context, Romania’s substantial contribution to Moldova’s energy security and close cooperation in combating disinformation and hybrid threats was emphasized. The discussion also highlighted France’s support, reflected in high-level political dialogue and the strengthening of defense cooperation.
