NSC at the Transatlantic Periscope Summit 2026

New Strategy Center participated in the Transatlantic Periscope Summit 2026, held on 29–30 October in Dublin, Ireland. The event focused on developments in transatlantic relations and the evolving international security environment.

The Summit brought together representatives of partner organizations, experts in international relations and security, as well as members of the academic and diplomatic communities, providing a platform for dialogue on the evolving relationship between the United States and its partners, the reshaping of transatlantic relations, and the implications of geopolitical shifts for the European security architecture.

NSC was represented by Dilara Kakillioglu, Head of the Research Department.

During the working sessions, discussions focused on the evolution of relations between the United States and its partner countries in the context of the Trump administration’s second term, the implications of shifts in US foreign policy at both national and European levels, and the challenges of communicating foreign policy in an information environment increasingly affected by disinformation.

Participants also examined the future of transatlantic relations and potential directions for Europe’s strategic realignment, including in the context of security priorities and the future development of cooperation between Europe and the United States.
