NSC – research visit to the Port of Constanta for special representatives for the reconstruction of Ukraine
The NSC organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the Naval Forces a fact-finding visit to Constanta of special representatives for the reconstruction of Ukraine from France, Germany and Greece, who also participated in the conference dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The foreign diplomats visited the Port of Constanta, held discussions with the port authorities and the Naval Forces, thus getting to know better Romania’s efforts to support Ukraine’s exports. At the moment, more than 60% of exports to global markets transit Romania, a huge logistical effort involving the Romanian Danube ports as well as the ports of Sulina and Constanta. Naval forces have to face the danger of mines and secure the routes of ships carrying grain from Ukraine.
Another danger affecting freedom of navigation is caused by electronic warfare actions that the Russian Federation is using to disrupt communications and the GPS system of ships, increasing the risk of accidents.
The NSC is grateful for the support of its partner institutions in this action to promote Romania’s efforts to support Ukraine and our country’s strategic interests.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
