The New Strategy Center organized the conference entitled “Powerful Tool for Defense and Industrial Cooperation” on Thursday, April 11th. The debate included a comprehensive assessment of the security challenges in the Black Sea region and of Romania’s defense and deterrence capabilities. The event also offered the opportunity for discussions on industrial defense co-operation and how to intensify this cooperation between Romanian companies and those with extensive foreign experience. The conference has benefited from the expertise of Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ben Hodges, former commander of US Army Europe, and Ambassador Sorin Ducaru, chairman of the Scientific Council of NSC, as well as representatives of the domestic and international defense industry.
