Presentation of the latest U.S. National Defense Strategy

On Friday, November 18, the New Strategy Center organized a presentation of the latest U.S. National Defense Strategy, released on October 27, a strategic document that sets the DoD’s strategic direction and priorities for the Joint Force, identifying how the U.S. military will meet growing threats to U.S. national security interests and to a stable and open international system.

The Hon. Dr. Mara E. KARLIN, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy, Plans, and Capabilities, DoD, presented the top priorities of the strategy and reaffirmed the commitment of the US for its strategic partnership with Romania, especially in the context of the current security situation.
