New Strategy Center continued the series of conferences dedicated to defense and the Romanian Army’s endowment programs. In this debate, which took place on 4 February, special guests were Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, Minister for National Defense and Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, Chief of Defense Staff.
On this occasion, there the topic referred to the objectives, resources and action directions of the Romanian Army in 2020 and beyond. The discussions also considered the efforts to strengthen Romania’s role as a security guarantor in the region, as a trusted ally in NATO and the EU, to increase co-operation within the framework of the strategic partnership with the US.
