In the period September 23 –26th, in Sibiu, the Defense Staff conducted the simulation exercise ‘Focsani Gate – Full Spectrum Joint Deterrence Simulation Exercise 2019’, organized in collaboration with the Center for the Study of New Generation Warfare from USA and News Strategy Center, from Romania.
The objective of the exercise, organized at the Land Forces Academy, was the analysis on multinational, inter-institutions, strategic and operational levels of the aspects related to managing a multiple-dimensions crisis.
The exercise also regarded the influence of the regional developments in the field of security over the planning of the inter-institutions and military response to the crisis, but also the testing of the reaction capacity while using new warfare capabilities, especially in the land field, using the support resulted from simulating the effects of decisions made during crisis management.
