New Strategy Center held the first debate in the series dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the dissolution of the Soviet Union on Thursday, December 9, 2021, considering the impact and perception of this event in the US.  ”The Fall of the USSR and the End of the Bipolar World”, this conference benefited from the expertise of renowned American speakers: Dr. Russell Berman, professor at Stanford University, Ambassador (Ret.) Victor Jackovich, first U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, former U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia, USA , and Dr. Phil Petersen, President of the Center for New Generation Warfare, USA. The moderator of the debate was MG (Ret.) Leonardo Dinu, Member of the Scientific Council of the New Strategy Center. The speakers presented their assessments of the international situation since the demise of the USSR in December 1991, the perception of the United States on developments in the Soviet Union and the former communist states in Europe.
