On 17th and 18th of May 2019, the Defense Staff, in partnership with the New Strategy Center Romania and the Center for the Study of New Generation Warfare USA, have organized a workshop on topics of strategic interest, ‘European American Security Dialogue”, where Romanian officials and experts attended along with guests from the NATO structures and the Eastern Flank states.
The Chief of Defense, General Nicolae Ciucă, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe (DSACEUR), General Sir James Everard, Deputy Commander of Joint Force Command Naples, Lieutenant-General Christian Juneau, U.S. Army Europe Deputy Commanding General (USAREUR), Major General Joe Jarrard, along with other military leaders and experts in the security field, attended this event, whose purpose was to analyze the multiple aspects of hybrid threats and the methods to improve resilience to these threats.
