New Strategy Center publishes a detailed analysis of the results of the parliamentary elections held in the Republic of Moldova on September 28, 2025.
The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), the pro-European political formation supported by President Maia Sandu, achieved a decisive victory, securing 50.2% of the votes cast. Following the redistribution of votes from parties that did not pass the electoral threshold, PAS will hold 55 out of the 101 seats in the legislature, thus securing a parliamentary majority.
This outcome confirms the strong support of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova for the continuation of the country’s European path, despite extensive actions carried out by the Russian Federation aimed at destabilizing the electoral process and influencing the election results.
The analysis was prepared by George Scutaru, CEO of New Strategy Center and former Presidential Advisor for National Security.
