New Strategy Center continues the series of online conferences. On Wednesday, 2 April, we held the debate ‘Russia – What next? The Perspectives of Ukraine and Belarus’, with speakers from Ukraine and Belarus: Mr. Arseny Sivitsky, Director of the Center for Strategic and Foreign Policy Studies – Belarus and Mr. Mykhailo Samus, Deputy Director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies – Ukraine.

The topics of the during were related to issues such as the situation in Eastern Ukraine and the development of discussions to find a solution in the Ukrainian conflict, the state of bilateral relations between Moscow and Minsk and the extent to which the Russia-Belarus Union project could be finalized, the link between the effects of the pandemic and the distraction of the international community from the security situation in Ukraine and Belarus, internal developments in the Russian Federation.
