New Strategy Center resumes its activity with online conferences. On Friday, March 27, an online debate was held entitled “The Coronavirus Pandemic and the Challenges to the European Solidarity”, which benefited from the perspective of the following speakers: Dr. Charles Powell, Director of the ELCANO Royal Institute, from Spain, General (ret.) Vincenzo Camporini, member of the Board of Directors, Institute of International Relations (IAI), from Italy, and Dr. Emmanuel Dupuy, President of the Institute for European Forecasts and Security, from France. The addressed issues covered the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic for the European solidarity, the future of the European Union, the increased cohesion at the EU level and coordination regarding the management of this unprecedented crisis.
The New Strategy Center project continues, being aware of the need for an independent platform that will bring together experts from Romania and abroad, to identify solutions to the big trials of the moment. In this way, we contribute to strengthening Romania’s strategic thinking in crisis situations.
