DOMINOES project final meeting

DOMINOES project final meeting

On 25-26 January, in the framework of the DOMINOES project, the New Strategy Center successfully organised Transnational Project Meeting 4. This strategy meeting brought together project partners National Academy of Intelligence „Mihai Viteazul”, the University of Malta and the Universidad Ray Juan Carlos in Spain to discuss important aspects of the project’s completion processes. The DOMINOES project was designed to bring about a change in the digital domain, significantly improving digital capabilities in higher education and promoting innovation in education and training. The central objective of this initiative is to develop a training curriculum with a focus on cultivating the skills needed to identify misinformation and manipulation of information.

This comprehensive curriculum addresses methods for identifying these phenomena in the online environment and encourages responsible conduct in the information ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to prevent the spread of misinformation and information manipulation, thus ensuring a safer and more responsible information environment for all users. During the meeting, New Strategy Center representatives Roberta Răducu, communication expert, Denisa Radu, executive assistant, and Sergiu Mitrescu, program director, presented the team’s contributions and deliverables.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
