Exercise at strategic level, in an interinstitutional format

The Defense Staff, in collaboration with the New Strategy Center and Center for the Study of the New Generation Warfare from the US, organized an  interinstitutional strategic exercise, at the National Military Circle in Bucharest, on 18 and 20 January.

The exercise was attended by representatives of the Defense Staff leadership, of the categories of forces from the Romania’s Army, of other structures within the Defense Ministry, along with representatives of several ministries, agencies and institutions with responsibilities in the field of national security. Romanian military and civilian experts, as well as from the United Kingdom and the United States have participated in the working groups.

The participants have analyzed hypothetical military and economic scenarios in the Black Sea coastal region, aiming to identify strategic solutions to manage multidimensional crises. The evolution of the security environment and the interinstitutional responses were also analyzed.

The exercise was carried out in compliance with all pandemic health protection standards, including the testing of all participants with rapid tests.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
