On 5 April 2019, New Strategy Center was co-organizer, together with the German Marshall Fund Warsaw, of the conference “From The Baltic Sea to The Black Sea: How B9 strengthens NATO”. This event was organized in Warsaw, on the margins of the meeting of defense ministers from the Bucharest (B9) states. The debate focused on the cooperation within the B9 format, the assessment on the progress of this regional cooperation format before the NATO Summit which will take place this year in London, the analysis of the threats to the B9 states’ security and their common objectives. The New Strategy Center speakers, Mr. Ambassador Sergiu Celac and BG (ret.) Mircea Mindrescu, stressed the strategic importance of the Black Sea region and the need for a unified approach.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
