NSC – debate with experts from The Heritage Foundation

The New Strategy Center, in partnership with The Heritage Foundation in the US, held a debate on Tuesday, October 29, dedicated to US foreign and security policy under a Republican administration. The discussions focused on several topics of interest, such as Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, the US-EU relationship, the US presence in Europe, on NATO’s Eastern Flank and in the Black Sea region, and the US-Romania bilateral relationship.


The debate was opened by George Scutaru, CEO, New Strategy Center, and the speakers were:  James Carafano, Senior Counselor to the President and E.W. Richardson Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, USA, Kathleen McFarland, former Deputy National Security Advisor to the U.S. President, Adrian Zuckerman, former United States Ambassador to Romania, USA, Robert Wilkie, Distinguished Fellow in the Center for American Security at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), USA. The event was moderated by Antonia Colibășanu, NSC Associate Senior Expert, Chief Operating Officer & Senior Geopolitical Analyst, Geopolitical Futures.
