New Strategy Center participated in the 22nd edition of the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism, the largest counter-terrorism event, in Israel on 11-12 September.
New Strategy Center was represented at the event by Brigadier General (Ret.) Simion Eduard, Senior Associate Expert, who made a presentation to the audience focusing on the strategic relevance of the Black Sea and the security challenges posed by Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. The possible developments of the conflict, the impact on global food security, especially on the Middle East and North African countries, the need to maintain freedom of navigation in the difficult conditions of the mine threat, Romania’s role in supporting Ukraine’s grain exports were some of the topics discussed on this occasion.
