NSC workshop on protection of the critical energy infrastructure

On September 11,  New Strategy Center organized a workshop entitled: „Israel’s experience in protecting critical energy infrastructure in the offshore Mediterranean ”.
The discussions aimed at assessing the security environment both in the Black Sea area and in the Eastern Mediterranean, the challenges facing Romania and Israel, a presentation of energy projects in the off shore area of Romania, as well as the solutions that the state of Israel has applied in protecting its critical infrastructure, with an emphasis on energy.

NSC organized this event in the context of the start in the next period of the construction of critical infrastructure for exploiting of the Neptune Deep perimeter, the most important energy project of Romania in the  Economic Exclusive Zone of the Black Sea.
