Between March 26-28, New Strategy Center participated in a consultation session in Wroclaw, Poland, alongside Polish experts, discussing topics of mutual interest. The event was organized by New Strategy Center in partnership with the Centre for East European Studies, University of Warsaw (SEW UW), and the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW).
The discussions covered current issues such as potential developments in the war in Ukraine, the peace process, transatlantic relations, regional cooperation formats, and connectivity projects. Experts also analyzed the situation in the Republic of Moldova, particularly in light of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
A central focus of the debates was strengthening cooperation between Romania and Poland in the context of security challenges on NATO’s Eastern Flank. Enhancing this strategic partnership is crucial for ensuring regional stability and security.
The three organizations aim to actively contribute to the development of the strategic dialogue between Romania and Poland, focusing on key aspects of security for both countries and reinforcing NATO’s Eastern Flank. This was the fifth edition of the strategic consultations with Polish experts, and the partnership with the Centre for East European Studies, University of Warsaw, and the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) remains particularly valuable for New Strategy Center.
