New Strategy Center participated on Friday, June 23, at the conference “Future of European Law and Society”, organized by the League of Romanian Students Abroad. The event took place in Brussels, in the European Parliament.
On behalf of the NSC, Marcu-Andrei Solomon, coordinator of the research department, spoke about recent progress and barriers in the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, and Răzvan Ceuca, foreign affairs expert, spoke about the use of cyber diplomacy to protect European values and lessons learned from Ukraine on cyber security.
The conference also addressed other topics of interest, such as the identity of the European citizen, the future of decision-making in the European Union, and how European legislation will evolve to counter contemporary threats such as propaganda, hybrid actions and the use of artificial intelligence for malign purposes.
