On Monday, 7 February 2022, New Strategy Center organized an event to present at institutional level, the results of the Gallup poll ”Republic of Moldova – Romania in the turmoil of the regional crises in 2022”, focused on the economic, social and political development in the Republic of Moldova, the relationship with Romania, The European Union and the Russian Federation. The data was collected by CBS Research, between January 24th – February 3rd, 2022, in the Republic of Moldova.
The results were presented by Dr. Dan Dungaciu, director ISPRI and member of the Scientific Council of the New Strategy Center, Dr. Igor Munteanu, member of the IDIS Viitorul board and sociologists from CBS Research, from the Republic of Moldova.
The Gallup poll is conducted at the request of the Institute for Development and Social initiatives “Viitorul”, from the Republic of Moldova and the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations (ISPRI) from Romania.
Taking into account the special bilateral relationship between Romania and the Republic of Moldova and the current security context in the region, New Strategy Center organized this event considering it is important to present the perception of public opinion in the Republic of Moldova on relevant topics.
