Simulation exercise: “Full Spectrum Deterrence Simulation”

The Defence Staff, in partnership with the think-tank New Strategy Center (Romania) and the Centre for the Study of New Generation Warfare (USA), organised a simulation exercise on “Full Spectrum Deterrence Simulation” in Constanta, on 4-7 March, with the support of the Romanian Naval Forces.

The aim of the training activity was to analyse at multinational, inter-institutional, strategic, operational and tactical level the issues related to the multidimensional management of different strategic scenarios. Regional security changes were also taken into account, assessing the response capability of the Romanian Army’s capabilities within the scenarios addressed.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
