“Two Years of Russia’s invasion. Ensuring Solidarity and Continued Support for Ukraine’s Victory”

The New Strategy Center organized on Wednesday, February 21, the conference “Two Years of Russia’s invasion. Ensuring Solidarity and Continued Support for Ukraine’s Victory”, dedicated to commemorating two years since the start of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. During these two years we have witnessed serious violations of international law, murder and destruction by Russia. We are now in the midst of a war of attrition, consuming human and material resources, and Russia is now attacking on the front on several fronts, trying to gain territorial advantages. It is vital that multiple aid to Ukraine continues, especially militarily, in order to confront Russian aggression and liberate occupied territories. Romania, together with the other states of the democratic world, must continue to support Ukraine in order to prevent it from having a common border with the Russian Federation. The debate was moderated by George Scutaru, Director General of the NSC, and the speakers were H.E. Ihor Prokopchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Romania, and Mykhailo Samus, Director, New Geopolitics Research Network, Ukraine, Non-Resident Expert, New Strategy Center. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, academia and institutions attended the event and took part in the discussions.
