The New Strategy Center organized on April 21-22 a new dialogue on topics of common interest with experts from Poland, as part of the cooperation between the NSC and the Center for Eastern Studies (OSW) in Warsaw.
The discussions included topics such as possible evolutions of the war in Ukraine and the impact on the future security architecture, the reconstruction process in Ukraine, the transatlantic relationship, the current security situation in the Republic of Moldova, where there are massive hybrid actions by Russia. At the same time, regional cooperation formats such as the 3 Seas Initiative and Bucharest 9 were analysed, as well as various aspects of bilateral cooperation between Poland and Romania.
The NSC and OSW thus aim to contribute to a better common understanding of security challenges in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Cooperation between the NSC and OSW in this format started in 2018 and has continued annually, contributing to strengthening the strategic dialogue between Romania and Poland on issues vital to the security of both countries and NATO’s Eastern Flank.
