New Strategy Center at the Balkans Think Tank Convention – Ankara

On 7-9 September, New Strategy Center participated in the third Balkans Think Tank Convention, held in Ankara, Turkey and organised by the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) in Turkey.
Representatives of organisations from Turkey, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina met to discuss topics such as global and regional geopolitical transformations, the main challenges in the Balkans region, ways to strengthen the resilience of the region’s states and the prospects for European integration of the region.
On this occasion, Izel Stănculescu-Selim, Programme Director of the New Strategy Center, participated as a speaker in the session dedicated to regional cooperation formats and ways to make these mechanisms more effective.
