Major General (Retired) Paul Hurmuz, Senior Associate Expert at the New Strategy Center, was invited as Keynote Speaker to the Zagreb Security Forum “NATO and EU Cooperation – a Key for Resilient Future”, from 11-12 October.

His presentation was about “Resilience in the Age of Cognitive Warfare and Emerging & Disruptive Technologies”. General Hurmuz stressed the complex and ambiguous hybrid operations in the Balkans and the Black Sea regions. He also underlined the need for urgent measures in the NATO and EU Framework but also at bilateral and regional level, in order to effectively counter the Cognitive Warfare operations from our adversaries.
