NSC at Three Seas Initiative and Business Forum

New Strategy Center organized a panel within the Three Seas Initiative and Business Forum summit, which took place on April 28–29 in Dubrovnik. The panel was titled “Connectivity and Security: Ukraine and Moldova’s Contribution to the 3 Seas Initiative.”
Speakers emphasized the importance of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova for the development of the Three Seas Initiative, especially from the perspective of connectivity. The fastest route between the port of Gdańsk in the Baltic Sea and the port of Constanța in the Black Sea runs through western Ukraine. Likewise, the Danube Corridor, which links Germany to the Black Sea, is being developed with the contribution of Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine. These strategic routes play an important economic role and are relevant for Ukraine’s reconstruction, but they also have significance for military mobility and deterrence posture across the entire Eastern Flank.
At the same time, the strategic importance of the Black Sea was highlighted as a crossroad area for connectivity and energy projects.
In this context, Romania is interested in promoting the concept of a “connectivity triangle,” aimed at facilitating better links between Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine, thereby contributing to infrastructure development, increased economic cooperation, and the strengthening of regional security.

At its core, a luxury mechanical watch is a triumph of micro-engineering. Imagine a universe contained within a diameter of 30 to 40 millimeters. Hundreds of tiny components—gears, levers, springs, and jewels—coexist in a perfectly orchestrated ballet.

The mainspring stores energy, releasing it with controlled grace through the gear train, its rhythm governed by the hypnotic swing of the balance wheel. This "heart" of the watch, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour or more, is a miracle of physics and precision.
