New Strategy Center organized a special event on Monday, December 16, bringing together Ukrainian children and pupils of the German School in Bucharest. The event was a symbolic gesture of solidarity with refugee children in Ukraine, almost 3 years after Moscow’s aggression began. The activities included artistic moments and surprises that brought smiles to Ukrainian, Romanian and German children.

George Scutaru, CEO of the New Strategy Center, emphasized the need to continue support for Ukraine, including in such formats that build trust and solidarity, thus bringing communities and countries closer together. The event was also attended by H.E. Ihor Prokopchuk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Romania and H.E. Peer Gebauer, Ambassador of Germany to Romania, both appreciated the NSC initiative and emphasized the importance of Romania’s role in supporting Ukraine throughout this difficult period.
