The official opening of the 2024 edition of the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum was greeted with speeches from Mr. Ionel NIȚU, the President of the New Strategy Center, Mr. Sorin CÎMPEANU, the Rector of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Romania and H.E. Marcel CIOLACU, the Prime Minister of Romania.

Speakers thanked the organizers and partners as well as the sponsors and participants on the occasion of the eighth edition of the forum. They also outlined the main areas of discussion for the event, such as NATO’s Eastern flank, the war in Ukraine and the role of leaders and experts in managing these challenges.
