New Strategy Center publishes an extensive analysis of the consequences of Vladimir Putin’s re-election as President of the Russian Federation following the March 15-17, 2024 elections.
The study explores the expected effects of the next six years of the president’s term on the evolution of the war in Ukraine, the stability of the Putin regime and Russia’s relationship with the West.
The analysis also examines the ways in which Vladimir Putin will strengthen his domestic control in the new term in a vast effort to militarise Russian society and economy.
The study was authored by New Strategy Center experts Cristina Melnic and Ion Cristea, under the coordination of George Scutaru, Director General of the New Strategy Center and former Presidential National Security Advisor.
