Serbia is an important country for the stability of the Balkans, currently in a rather difficult dialogue with the European Union over Kosovo, with a foreign policy that tries to combine the old relations between Belgrade and Moscow with the interests of European players, the US and not least China. Serbia is one of Romania’s neighbors, with the two countries maintaining good relations, despite the different paths each has followed in relation to NATO and the EU.
